Traditional financing is available for all students on approved credit, with interest-only payments while in school.
-
Please be aware that traditional financing is for tuition only and cannot be used to pay for your application fee, diving physical, required personal equipment, or housing during the program.
Tuition arrangements may be made in-house for students who would like to make payments for the full tuition amount over the course of the 4 month program. A credit check may be required and a cosigner is recommended.
Required Gear
Students are required to have the equipment's in order to complete the diving portions of the program. You may bring any gear you already own or purchase new/used equipment from any retail source.
No specific manufacturers are required, but all equipment should be in good, working condition and be approved by CDI diving instructor.

Diving Physical
The completion of a Standardized Diving Physical is required for all students prior to starting class. All students must complete a diving physical before any hyperbaric chamber or diving exposure. Some medical conditions may be disqualifying for diving. Disqualifying conditions can include a history of seizures, chronic inability to equalize sinus and middle ear pressure, significant lung disorder/disease, major nervous system disorder/disease, and certain bone conditions. Instructions, industry regulations, and application for Physicians are listed in the ADMISSIONS section of website and can be obtained by any Administrative Staff member of CDI.
NOTE: We recommend all graduates obtain an ADCI standardized physical prior to obtaining employment as certain employers may require the ADCI Physical Card. If your employer requires such authorization, your medical practitioner must use the standardized ADCI diving Physical form.
Final determinations for fitness to dive must be made by a physician. All cost related to such exams are at the student’s expense.
